I was born and raised in SE Portland Oregon. I have been married for over 30 years, raised five fabulous children and now get to enjoy three grandkids that rule our hearts. Needless to say, I took much time off of my career while raising and spending 13 years homeschooling my babies. We moved to Sandy Oregon over 13 years ago and in recent years I started my own small photography side business. 

I have spent the last ten plus years working for CYO Camp Howard in Corbett Oregon. I worked much of that time in staff management and staff training as the Assistant Camp Director. I successfully helped to oversee operations for a 200 plus children's summer camp as well as year round rental camps, while demonstrated expertise in team building, facility management, enhancing safety and operational efficiency, helping to manage the kitchen and keeping camp fully accredited with the American Camp Association and its 360 plus health and safety standards. I am a motivated professional with experience in managing kitchen staff, menu development and special dietary needs. I have a proven track record of helping in recruiting and training staff, maintaining quality standards and driving customer satisfaction. I have been committed to providing a safe, organized and clean environment for staff and guests throughout all of the camp property. In my younger years I lived in Ashton Idaho for nearly 8 years.  I was raising my family then, but I also spent two of those years as an in home care, nurses assistant, for a family with four boys with Muscular Dystrophy. Two were fully bed ridden and on Trach's, and one was in a chair and passed during my time with the family. It was emotionally draining, it was physically exhausting and it was also one of the best experiences of my life. Very fulfilling on so many levels. In my youth I worked for two years for UPS as a package auditor in the Tualatin Hub. I left due to a high risk pregnancy and was told that I would always be welcome back. I was also a shift leader in Greek fast food at Gyros Gyros for over nine years in my teens and early 20s.

During and before my time at Camp Howard and after my children started growing up, I attended Mt. Hood Community College getting my Associates Transfer Degree, then on to Portland State University getting my Bachelors in History.
