Chief Podiatric Surgical Resident- PGY-2 and PGY-3 for half the year of my PGY-2 year and all of my PGY3 year I was Chief

of the residents. My duties involved coordinating a yearly schedule and maintaining the surgery schedule for the residents. I also was responsible for setting up and organizing all aspects of Cadaver labs and journal clubs for residents and attendings. My responsibilities included accountability for all resident issues if ever there are issues with other residents, attendings, rotations or hospital policies. I was involved in ACGME meetings in this time and have maintained a close personal relationship to the hospital CFO and DIO in order to make our program be more efficient and vital part of the hospital workforce.
