Shannon Vickers

Shannon is an experienced RN with 20+ years in pediatric, maternal, and long-term

care, including leadership and case management. Proven expertise in coordinating

complex care plans, home health services, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Skilled

in-patient advocacy, education, and ensuring continuity of care across populations.

Holds a master’s in nursing education and leadership. Adept at EMR systems,

insurance coordination, and team mentoring. Committed to delivering high-quality,

person-centered care while aligning with compliance standards and

improving health outcomes.

I completed my Master's degree in Nursing Education and Leadership.  Through this program, I was able to round out my experience with a higher education degree, which further focused my career toward education and teaching the upcoming generation.  I learned a variety of teaching styles and leadership strategies that have only made me a more effective. teacher and communicator in leadership.
