Hello,

My name is Shane Davis, I am 43 yrs old and will be moving to the area within the next few months.

I wanted to reach out to see if you will have any positions open in the near future?

I have attached my resume to this email which includes all of my contact information. I will be seeking a FT position.

My experience in Marketing (10+ years) and Sales (8+ years) along with being a Certified Inspector through HAAG - I have ample experience in the industry on all sides of the counter so to speak.

I have worked directly with the owner of Discount Roofing and Siding as the only outside sales/job supervisor, estimator, inspector, Xactimate operator, etc, since Oct. 2016. Prior to that I worked at ABC Supply Inc. (Manassas VA location) for approx 8years and during that won the "Inside Salesperson of the Year" in 2011 for the Mid Atl District. I not only handled all walk-in and phone orders, I was also the (one of the) main representatives to handle all the National Accounts (ie: Pulte Home, Toll Brothers, NVR etc).

I was injured while working last June 2024 - at which time I tore my right bicep muscle. It required surgery and six months of physical therapy. During that time - I had to become my fathers in home care, until his recent passing in Oct. 2024. I am still working the strength back up in that arm, but have no real restrictions with it. I will say, and say humbly - I seem to struggle now with any roof over a 7/12 slope when doing inspection. Something happened in my mind that just doesn't allow me to step off of the ladder when it's above 7/12. So I have no problem doing inspections on anything 7/12 and under. 

The reason for my move is my mother lives close to Myrtle Beach and following the passing of my father, and seeing what all was needed during that time - I want to be closer to my mother, in the event that something happens health wise.
