I completed one year of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Troy University, where I developed a strong academic foundation in human anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and patient-centered care. This coursework gave me a detailed understanding of the circulatory system, infection control principles, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to communicate complex information clearly and compassionately—skills that directly support safe and accurate blood collection.

Alongside my nursing studies, I successfully completed the Phlebotomy Training Specialists program in San Antonio East, a rigorous, hands-on certification course that emphasized venipuncture and capillary techniques, proper specimen handling and processing, OSHA and HIPAA compliance, and patient interaction skills.
