My career is dedicated to helping teams and communities achieve optimal health and vitality in partnership with our environment.
A passionate self-starter, I pursue knowledge through research, experience, and communication. Sustainable and equitable solutions for hunger, agriculture, and the environment are important to me on personal, community, and global scales.

FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, REAL FOOD CT
NEWTOWN, CT — 2018 - PRESENT
Founded an agricultural non-profit to strengthen the local food system in Northern Fairfield County. Built two fully operating Small Farms (1-2 acres) using regenerative agriculture principles to synchronize production with nature. The Farm Surplus program is a solution for farm and market waste, coordinating same-day deliveries with hunger relief organizations. Collectively the programs donate an average of 30K lbs of produce a year.
Managed all operations of our regenerative Small Farms, including soil testing, cover cropping, crop planning, pollinator management, compost, facilities, harvest, volunteer coordination, finances, and deliveries. Execute next-level applications of regenerative methodologies to enhance the health of plants and produce.
Cross-functional collaboration with an extensive network of partnerships and key stakeholders in the agriculture, non-profit, hunger relief, and food system arenas, including the CT Department of Agriculture, UConn Ag Extension, New CT Farmer Alliance, CT Food System Alliance, CT NOFA, and more.
Have written and managed multiple large-scale grants, with awards totaling over $100K in the last two seasons. Acted as the primary manager of all significant fundraising events and donor communications.

Developed a personal fitness and wellness brand that customizes and encourages healthy exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle transformations. Operated all aspects of a high-end service and consultation business.

Joined management team to assist in rebranding and weekly oversight of the town’s farmers market which hosts 25-30 local food vendors from June through October.

Established and managed a one-on-one personal training studio that averaged over $500k in revenue between 2008-2016. Hired and developed a training staff that maintained weekly averages of 125 sessions collectively. Was responsible for all operations of the business.
