Scott White

I am a passionate historian and educator with over a decade of experience teaching high school world history and a deep commitment to advancing historical research. Recently earning my second Master’s degree in History, I aim to transition to academia, where I can merge my love for teaching with my dedication to historical scholarship.

My research interests center on political history, particularly the 20th century, with a focus on the global impact of the World Wars and the development of nuclear diplomacy. I am also a published author, exploring how pivotal events shape our understanding of the past and influence present-day policy and culture.

I bring a collaborative and student-focused approach to teaching, striving to make history relevant and engaging for diverse learners. Whether in the classroom or through research, my goal is to inspire critical thinking, foster intellectual curiosity, and contribute meaningfully to the academic community.

I have taught high school for approximately eight years for Palm Springs Unified School District, Murrieta Valley Unified School District, and Springs Charter Schools. During this time, I taught World History, AP World History, American History, Government, and Economics. Additionally, I subbed at multiple districts from 2008 to 2017, teaching grades Kindergarten through continuation school.

Most recently, I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master's in History. During my time at Southern New Hampshire University, I was able to publish my thesis on "Nuclear Proliferation: A Case Study of Hiroshima" through ProQuest Theses & Dissertations. My school work focused around historiography and research of American history.
