Scott Sensiba

I’m a recent Washington State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics, along with minors in Business Administration and Mathematics. I’m passionate about leveraging data to design innovative solutions that improve performance and efficiency. My academic and project experience includes building complete SQL-based database systems such as a Shopify Point-of-Sale system, where I implemented stored procedures for sales tracking, customer analytics, and inventory management.

Beyond the classroom, I collaborated on a Boeing-sponsored capstone project using NASA bird strike data to develop and model a projectile prototype for use in bird strike testing during aircraft manufacturing. This experience deepened my understanding of data-driven engineering, from preprocessing raw experimental data to optimizing design parameters using statistical analysis and simulation.

I’m skilled in SQL, Python, and R, and experienced in turning raw data into actionable business and technical insights through visualization and predictive analytics. My long-term goal is to integrate data analytics, AI, and business intelligence to drive decision-making and mentor future analysts in this rapidly evolving field.

For the past year, I've been working with the Washington State Uiversity Department of Criminal Justice on a project to digitize police use of force data from multiple agencies across the state.

I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Data Analytics from Washington State University with a double minor in Business Administration and Mathematics.
