Technology / Internet
About Scott Ruiz Gomez:
I’m a dual-degree student at Westminster University studying Computer Science and Theatre (Acting Emphasis) — a mix that keeps both sides of my brain active. I love building systems that feel seamless to use and meaningful to design, whether that’s a compiler built from scratch with ANTLR, a React-based educational game, or a Java chat server that actually scales under pressure. Right now, I’m the Audiovisual & Technology Lead at Giovale Library, where I bridge tech and people — managing 3D printing, troubleshooting hardware, and training others to feel confident around technology. I also serve as a Resident Advisor, helping create an inclusive, balanced environment where people can grow (and occasionally reminding them to do their dishes). I take pride in learning fast and approaching every project like a performance — thoughtful, deliberate, and collaborative. I’m especially interested in software engineering, interactive systems, and creative tech that connects human experience with design. Let’s build something that works beautifully and makes sense to people.
