Administrative
About Savannah Khan:
I am a detail-oriented professional with a background in healthcare, administrative work, and transcription. As a registered nurse, I manage complex workflows, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with patients and providers, and ensure critical details are never overlooked. These experiences have strengthened my ability to prioritize competing demands, solve problems quickly, and maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments.
Before beginning my career as a nurse, I developed strong communication, administrative, and transcription skills through a variety of professional experiences, including work at a law firm. This background built a strong foundation in information management, document preparation, and supporting professionals through organized systems and clear communication.
I am now seeking to transition into an executive assistant role where I can apply my transferable skills—organization, communication, and a strong “get-it-done” mindset—in a business environment. I enjoy helping leaders stay focused on high-value work by ensuring the details behind the scenes are handled efficiently, and I’m excited to contribute to a fast-moving team while continuing to grow professionally.
Experience
My professional experience spans healthcare, administrative support, and customer-facing roles, providing a strong foundation in organization, communication, and operational efficiency. I currently work as an Infusion Nurse at Georgia Cancer Specialists, where I manage complex treatment workflows, coordinate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and maintain precise clinical documentation. Previously, I have worked in other specialty areas as a Registered Nurse.
Before entering nursing, I gained extensive administrative experience in legal and office settings as a legal receptionist, assistant, and transcriptionist at a law firm, where I focused on document preparation, transcription, and office coordination. Additional roles—including pharmacy technician, hospitality guest services, and childcare—further strengthened my customer service skills, adaptability, and ability to manage responsibilities in fast-paced environments.
Throughout my career, I have worked with multiple complex systems—including Cerner, Epic, NextGen, Intergy, and OncoEMR—and have been recognized for professionalism and clinical excellence through nominations such as the AJC Celebrating Nurses Award and the Northside Hospital Clinical Excellence Award.
