Sarah Scarborough

I am an exceptionally creative and energetic individual. I take pride in having the ability to reach and relate to and communicate with others with passion, humor & positivity. I look at life as a glass half full & am always seeking a challenge to tackle. I believe we are all life-long learners and can find something new to learn from the world each day if you allow it. I strive to be the best version of myself, which includes submitting this application to follow my dreams of becoming the greatest writer in the world.

It was December of 2019, and I had just begun teaching. I taught kindergarten for 3 years, gaining a multitude of skills, all because I liked teaching and helping others & truthfully, I liked being off for the summer. Little did I know, we would hit a global pandemic, and I started to itch for other opportunities where I could reach my full potential, and then some. I decided to leave the classroom in May of 2022 and pursue deeper passions, such as writing, leading and creating. I found a job where I was still able to help people, but also gain more knowledge and experience in the other passions I had. I obtained an Account Coordinator position at a marketing agency called Augeo. We assist in planning all sorts of events- from corporate to non-profit meetings, incentives and global conferences. In the short period of time that I've been here, I've enhanced my skills more than I ever thought possible. This is what motivates me to continue to help others, specifically with am emphasis in writing, and continue to do what I love every single day. My goal is to not only create a sustainable career off of writing, but to continue to meet, help and inspire others along the way. 

I graduated college from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in Education, and am currently looking for more opportunities in my current role as a coordinator to obtain certifications and licenses in other areas.
