Sarah Dougherty

I’m a passionate and mission-driven professional with over 5 years of experience in program development, student engagement, and community partnerships. My background includes leading large-scale events, mentoring youth, and managing cross-functional teams in both educational and public service settings. As a former Director of Programs and current Program Specialist in higher education, I specialize in building inclusive, impactful initiatives that support growth, connection, and opportunity. I'm driven by purpose, fueled by collaboration, and always looking for ways to create lasting, positive change.

I have over five years of experience leading student-centered programs in nonprofit settings, with several months of experience in higher education. My background includes managing mentorship initiatives, expanding educational programs across multiple school districts, and coordinating large-scale events like commencement. I’ve supervised staff, developed strategic plans, and built strong partnerships with schools, communities, and campus departments—all with a focus on student success, equity, and engagement.

I attended Warner Pacific University, where my values and morals, centered around Christ, aligned with the institution's mission. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Organizational Leadership at Warner Pacific University and will be graduating in Spring 2026. This foundation has guided my approach to leadership, community engagement, and program development.
