Cadet 2nd Liutenant, Junior reserve officer training corps (jrotc)

• Met weekly with other leaders to discuss the improvement and implementation of schedules, goals, and productivity levels. 
• In charge of 25 cadets as Platoon Leader; created weekly trainings, directed team building activities, taught military drill, and instilled discipline.

September 2019 – July 2022

Academic team commander, Junior reserve officer training corps (JROTC)

• Was Assistant Commander of the 20 person JROTC Academic Team for 2 years. 
• Was Commander of the team for 1 year and lead the team to place 2nd overall regionally.
• Participated and represented the battalion in competitions, kept inventory of equipment, guided tri-weekly practices, and taught members skills to study efficiently.
• Developed new tests, quizzes, and games to assess students’ different abilities. 
• Helped organize the Annual Academic Bowl for 3 consecutive years, which hosted approximately 12 different schools each year.

Volunteer, repair The World

• Had thoughtful discussions about how to address and combat social injustices.
• Volunteered at the Monarch Garden of Brower Park. Maintained the garden, facilitated experiments with visiting children, and educated visitors on the importance of green spaces.
