SARAH DAVIS

I currently live in New Jersey in the United Sates, but I have dual citizenship with the UK and the USA as my mother was born in England, and moved here before I was born. I am looking to spend some time working in the UK. I have a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in community nutrition, and a master's degree from the same university in dietietics. I have been a registered dietitian since October of 2022, when I started working at Rutgers University Behavior Health Care as an inpatient psych dietitian. I am passionate about food, health, behavior change, and firmly believe that everyone should have a happy, healthy relationship with food. I was also a competitive swimmer from the time I was 8 through college, competiting at the highest level in collegiate athletics during my time at Rutgers. 

From July of 2020 to January of 2023, I worked at Monmouth Medical Center as a menu technician, which is one step below a registered dietitian. I ensured patients filled out their menus, and communicated with the kitchen and the dietitians to ensure all patients recieved the correct meals according to their diet orders. At my current job at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, I work with patients admitted to a psychiatric facility to ensure they receive nutrition care and the correct meals according to their specific needs. I work closely with doctors, nurses, and kitchen employees to avoid allergens and make sure patients receive individualized nutirition care based on health needs, both physical and mental. 

I have a bachelor's degree in community nutrition, which I graduated with from Rutgers in May of 2020. I have a master's degree in dietetics, which I graduated with from Rutgers in October of 2022. I completed my dietetic internship at Rutgers and passed the RD exam in October of 2022, earning the title Registered Dietitian.
