Samhitha Mantena

I am currently a senior at Purdue, all set to graduate in Aug 2023. I am eagerly looking to start off my career in Finance. 
As a national level athlete in high school and a national level dancer in college, I often found myself constantly expanding my horizons into that which is my unknown today. The 2 most important things for me at the moment are, to learn as much as I can and, to create impact with the work I do. Out of the box thinking and the willingness to take calculated risks are a huge part of who I am as a professional. I am longing to work for people and organizations that truly value innovation and the hunger to get better everyday.

Samhitha Mantena is a versatile professional with a strong background in finance, economics, data analysis, and consulting. During her internship at J.P. Morgan Chase (First Republic Bank), she demonstrated expertise in assessing investment opportunities, identifying emerging trends, and streamlining lending processes for VC funded Tech Startups. She excelled in generating financial growth models, acquiring new clients, and conducting credit risk analysis. As an Economics Research Assistant at New York University, she contributed to the development of economic forecasting methods and analyzed macroeconomic challenges. Additionally, Samhitha's experience as a Financial Consultant at Boilermaker Consulting Group and an intern at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem Inc.) showcased her skills in financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and effective communication. She has also been actively involved in various leadership roles, including her contribution as the Head of Finance in the Purdue Sustainable Transportation Case Competition and her candidacy for Vice President in the Purdue Student Government. With a strong skill set in R, Python, and financial tools, Samhitha is well-equipped to drive impactful solutions and create value in her future endeavors.

Samhitha Mantena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Economics, and Data Science from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. During her time at Purdue, she consistently made the Dean's List and received Semester Honors, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence. In addition, she pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business Online, where she obtained a certificate in Quantitative Modelling for Business & Finance. Samhitha's educational background reflects a strong foundation in finance, economics, and data analysis, providing her with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in her professional career.
