Samantha DeBien

Hello! My name is Samantha DeBien. I am a soon to be 25 year old. I was born in Miami, Florida but grew up in Cleveland, Tennessee majority of my life. I currently reside in Richmond, Virginia. I started playing soccer at 6 years old and went on to play Division I at Middle Tennessee State University for 6 years where I earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master's Degree in Sport Management. I am registered to get my D license by the end of November. I have been coaching club soccer for 3 years, but my goal is to coach at the Division I collegiate level. My passion is soccer, and I want to help coach and lead a group of dedicated and talented athletes who want to win. Being a former college student-athlete and having had numerous amounts of coaches growing up, I know what it takes to motivate a team, develop players, create a positive environment, produce a winning culture, establish discipline, build chemistry, and understand time management. I am also someone who is dedicated, hard-working, loyal, and intentional with everything I do.

• I coached 15-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boys soccer team.

• I was a substitute for middle school and high school kids.

• I coached a 12-year-old girls soccer team.

• I built forms, imported data, sent email notifications, and created questionnaires for collegiate athletics.
