Ryan Andujar

Although I majored in Biology throughout college, I eventually decided to pursue something new and fresh. After a year of web development, I began to dig further into tech and enroll into Flatiron School for software engineering. This proved to be one of the greater decisions of my life as I became infatuated and started to explore technology outside of my coursework, such as Flask and React Native. While these makes me a more well rounded engineer, I am looking to continue to carve my niche by learning more front end technologies like Flutter and Next.js. 

Throughout my freelancing web development career, lasting about a yeat, I mainly used technology like HTML, CSS, Vanilla JS, and Bootstrap. As I have begun to transition into a professional software engineer, I have picked up positions for startups like quickPark to create demos which has allowed me to pursue my creativity when developing. 

Learning at Flatiron was a unique experience. While we learned modern libraries like React.js, we also learned older languages like Ruby. It was a fast paced experience but it was one in which proved to be valuable as it has enabled me to pick up newer frameworks at an accelerated pace compared to my graduating peers.
