Robin Siefert

Robin Chasen Siefert is an experienced educator and instructional leader with over twenty years of professional experience spanning K–12 education, higher education, adult ESL and special education. She is a NYS certified School Library/Media Specialist with a Master’s degree in Library Science and has taught information literacy at the college level, strengthening students’ research, critical thinking, and academic skills. She has also worked as a public library reference librarian, where she provided research support and designed and facilitated engaging library programs for both adults and children.

Currently, she works in special education at Eastern Suffolk BOCES while teaching adult ESL in the evenings. She is halfway through earning her second Master’s degree in Special Education, has passed the certification exam, and is one course away from full certification validity. Throughout her career, Robin has developed curriculum, led instructional initiatives, coordinated programs, and supported diverse learners with a focus on literacy, inclusion, and real-world skill development. She is known for combining strong organizational leadership with warmth, creativity, and a deep commitment to empowering learners of all ages and abilities.
