About Robert Brown:

I am a graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in DTC (Design, Technology, and Culture), and a minor in Sociology. I specialize in creating vector graphics, the creation of websites through HTML/CSS or website builders, and photo/video editing using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere.

A tinkerer at my core, I’ve always found great satisfaction in detail-oriented projects related to graphic and web design, as well as software implementation and troubleshooting. Working primarily in the craft beer and hop industries has allowed me to become familiar with both B2B and B2C marketing through the creation of visual projects. 

Experience

During my time as Head Bartender and Interim Manager at The Kiln Taproom, I facilitated website redesign, branding, and digital asset management. As a Content Production and Marketing Intern at Yakima Valley Hops, I designed graphics for social media, photographed hop fields, and collaborated on video production. Additionally, I have experience in event organization, customer service, and technical support. My skills include Adobe Creative Suite, website creation, troubleshooting, and teamwork.

Education

I have a bachelor's degree in DTC (Design, Technology and Culture) as well as a minor in Sociology from Washington State University.
