Athletic Trainer – Optim Health systems

Aug 2023 – May Present 

I was part of a two person athletic training team at a 5A school with 17 sports teams. I was responsible for all athletic training services and responsibilities, as well as working closely with Optim’s athletic training department to promote and educate the community on our profession and the valuable services we provide. I also worked closely with physicians regarding a wide variety of athlete injuries, conditions, and referrals.

Head athletic trainer – Claremont colleges Men’s club rugby

Sept 2017 – June 2019

As head athletic trainer for the Claremont Colleges Rugby team I was responsible for all athletic training responsibilities. I traveled with the team to all competitions and training sessions, including 4 national championship tournaments and an invitation to NAVY SEAL training in San Diego.

As a per diem ATC I was brought in to replace or assist the primary athletic training staff with daily activities when they were understaffed, overbooked on events, or during public holidays. I was responsible for covering Division II, III, NAIA, junior college, and high school level competitions and practices; sports covered included, but were not limited to, soccer, cross country, tennis, water polo, basketball, baseball, football, golf, and athletic training room coverage.  I have worked with large and small teams of athletic trainers and other healthcare professionals to provide coverage of varying youth club sports including SoCal youth rugby, SoCal Soccer, inter-league volleyball, and even professional lacrosse.
