After nearly 30 years working as an architect, running projects from military to residential, with budgets from $50k to $100M, I have decided to transition to Plan Review services, a discipline in increasingly high demand in our field. I have worked with Building Departments and Private Plan Reviewers from all over the country and often found their knowledge of construction practices and the Building Code insufficient to provide targeted, helpful, and comprehensive drawing assessments. In my role as Lead Architect at my prior positions and as Principal at my own Architecture Firm, reviewing project drawings and documentation and providing specific, actionable commentary were an integral part of my daily work to ensure smooth project delivery. Having recieved a Bachelors Degree in English Literature from Boston University, my communication skills have always helped to bridge the often difficult gap between the technical requirements of Construction and Building Codes and a deep understanding amongst project stakeholders from divers backgrounds such as Clients, Contractors, Engineers, and Building Code Officials. Furthermore, I have a lifelong background in computers and computer programming that has recently allowed me to apply my writing skills toward a thorough understanding of artificial intelligence and AI driven software utilization. AI is a powerful tool that nonetheless requires the ability to provide concise and specific instructions to achieve acceptable reaults. Coupled with my knowledge of computers, I am able to work with mew AI technologies to improve efficiencies and develop processes that will save time on complicated construction project assessments. I am confident that I can accomplish the work required for this position with excellent results.

I have worked in the field of architecture for nearly 30 years on projects of all sizes and types. As project architect for a majority of my career, I have had responsibility for all aspects of the design process from predesigned to construction administration as well as business development, client management, feasibility studies, master planning, renderings and visualization, staffing and human relations, business operations and finance, and as an Expert Witness in multiple legal proceedings.
