Rishi Gondkar

Hi! I am a Master's in CSE student at UC San Diego with interests in ML and Blockchain. I have more than 4 years of academic research experience and 12 months of professional work experience(Co-op). I have worked on multiple projects spanning various domains including ML, IoT, Blockchain, and AR. I am a fast learner and can take up any role and full fill its responsibilities. I am known to be a team player and good communicator, who brings in unparalleled curiosity, energy, and knowledge to the table. I am open to intern opportunities as a Software Development Engineer Intern or Product Manager Intern starting June 2023.

I am a Master's student in Computer Science with experience in software development, blockchain, and machine learning. I am an excellent programmer with proficiency in multiple programming languages including C, C++, Python, Java, Golang, SQL, Javascript, and CSS. I am currently seeking internships for Summer 2023.

I have a strong background in product management, project management, and team management. I am familiar with tools such as Git, Qt-Creator, Unity3D, Blender(Scripting), Jira, Confluence, and cleverTap. I have a GPA of 3.66/4 from the University of California San Diego, where I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. I have taken related courses in Principles of Database Systems, Web Mining and Recommender Systems, and Usability of Programming Languages.

I have previous work experience as a Software Engineer at Mobile Premier League, where I developed an NFT platform and designed the customer support flow and data analytics flow. I also led a team of mobile app developers to develop a blockchain-based mobile dapp for trading NFT. As a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern at Western University, Canada, I performed data exploration and created a data science model for sky clarity calculation for a Colibri telescope. I also participated in Google Summer of Code 2020, where I created a conversational component for a robot using RASA.

I have completed several notable projects, including a virtual try-on system using augmented reality, a no-code development platform for a blockchain-based supply chain, and a state-of-the-art photometric classification system for stars, galaxies, and quasars. I have also published several papers and hold a patent in the field.

I am eager to bring my technical skills and experience to new challenges and opportunities in the software development and computer science fields.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California San Diego, with an expected graduation date of September 2022. My relevant coursework includes Principles of Database Systems (CSE 232), Web Mining and Recommender Systems (CSE 258), Algorithms Design and Analysis(CSE 202), Graduate Network Systems(CSE 224), and Usability of Programming Languages (CSE 291I). I also hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, University of Pune, where I achieved a GPA of 9.82/10.
