Rhonda Meeks

Hello.  My name is Rhonda Meeks.  I am looking to obtain a position where I can use my education, administrative, and customer service skills to work.  I am honest, patient, kind, good-natured, and professional.  I am outgoing, love being out-of-doors, and spending time with my hubby and my pets. I have a teaching degree, but left the classroom during COVID.  I needed a career change.  I enjoy working on the computer and have become quite good at learning new software which I use daily.  I am an avid reader, love to watch and stream movies.  I especially enjoy comedies, mysteries, and science fiction.  My employers would say I am trustworthy, punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic.  I am a good team player, and helpful.  My favorite foods are: pizza, steak, and shrimp.  I love to bake, so if hired be prepared to be testers!

I have spent a good part of my professional life working in the field of Education.  I have taught various different grades at both public and charter schools.  I have also served as a paraprofessional and as an Administrative assistant for over 5 years.   When not working in Education, I have worked as a receptionist, switchboard operator, medical office customer service position, and in sales.

My most recent experience in Education was working on getting Credits to maintain my teaching credential. In one job, it was required that I do professional development, which I took to learn various work place policies and procedures. I also took online classes in Reading, Computers, and Instruction.  I earned 8 hours at Adams State, graduate Level. I also took classes in Early Childhood Education as well, while working in a Day Care in Edwards Colorado.  I hold 2 BS degrees, one in Elementary Education, the other in Physical Education.  I also have an AAS Degree in Parks and Recreation Management.
