I believe in holistic treatments and person-centered care, supporting both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies to improve and maintain mental health. My goal is not to change the personality of my clients nor take away their ability to feel and express their emotions, but rather to decrease or eliminate their most distressing symptoms and help them to be the best version of themselves.

Motivated and certified as PMHNP-BC and ARNP with a strong foundation in psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, and patient advocacy. Clinical experience providing in-patient and hybrid out-patient mental health services to diverse patient populations across the lifespan. Background as a registered nurse in geriatric health with a passion for improving access to quality health care and delivering holistic, patient-centered care in both out-patient and in-patient settings. 

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track within the DNP degree program at the University of Washington prepared me to provide comprehensive care focused on prevention and treatment of psychiatric and mental health conditions for individuals across the lifespan and their families. The PMHNP practice is focused on holistic, trauma-informed care, individual and group psychotherapy, and psychopharmacological management. During the course of this program, I learned to work with individuals across their lifespans, from childhood through older adulthood.
