Services offered
My name is Reeyana Sehgeh, and I’m a creative producer, photographer, and storyteller based here in Atlanta. I’ve spent the last few years working across different corners of the creative world from being a lighting and production assistant with House of Shoots, to leading creative programs as a senior producer ,working with the all-Black women collective House of June, where we’re building out a film rooted sisterhood to now, a freelance photographer capturing special moments of all kinds.
Experience
I’m a multidisciplinary creative based in Atlanta, working at the intersection of photography, filmmaking, and storytelling. I began my creative journey in film, writing scripts, producing narrative shorts, and collaborating with a collective of Black women filmmakers. That foundation taught me how to build worlds, lead with vision, and keep story at the center of everything I create.
Photography entered my life as a way to document the process: behind-the-scenes stills, location scouting, and mood references. But it quickly became something deeper. It offered a more intimate and immediate form of storytelling. Where filmmaking gave me scale and structure, photography gave me presence. It helped me slow down and connect one-on-one, allowing me to explore softness, identity, and emotion in a different way.
Today, I see photography not as a pivot but as an expansion of my work. It allows me to carry my creative eye into lifestyle shoots, graduation portraits, fashion editorials, and archival documentation. My practice is rooted in storytelling that centers beauty, intimacy, and legacy, especially through a Black femme lens.
Professionally, I’ve worked as a senior producer, creative director, and visual strategist. I’ve led creative campaigns, mentored young artists, and built visuals for both everyday clients and community-based brands. I’ve trained through programs like One School, One Creator Lab, and Creative Circus. I’ve also worked on music video sets as a grip, gaffer, and set photographer. I understand that real mastery comes from being flexible. Sometimes you lead. Sometimes you assist. But you always show up with curiosity, care, and intention.
Education
I’ve received multidisciplinary creative training through several industry-recognized programs. I completed One School US, where I focused on art direction and creative storytelling, and One Creator Lab, where I developed skills in content strategy, branded storytelling, and social media production. I also studied portfolio design and advertising fundamentals at Creative Circus, and my academic foundation began at Clark Atlanta University. Beyond formal programs, I’ve invested in my growth through hands-on photography workshops led by industry leaders including Loretta Houston, Best Buy, Joanne Payton, and Mecca. These experiences have shaped my creative process and strengthened my approach to visual storytelling, production, and identity-centered work.
