As an researcher with a social science Ph.D., I can find facts and figures and present them in a clearly written paragraph, a page, or a longer format, with references as needed.
In addition to Google and Microsoft suites, I am proficient in a number of forms of application software. This includes productivity, data management, and collaboration software such as Retigo, Github, Slack, and manipulation of csv files; communication platforms such as WhatsApp; and various social media and mobile payment platforms; and generative AI tools, used with discretion.
Experience
July 2022 to December 2025: Project Leader for San Francisco AQ, Manylabs' air quality sensor network project in the Eastern Neighborhoods. Worked with grants administrator and CARB officials; held public presentations at Community and official meetings, wrote technical reports and press releases; evaluated and purchased NAAQS and TAC (TVOC) stationary and handheld monitors; installed, maintained, and analyzed data from stationary PID devices.
September 2018 to July 2019. Project Leader for San Francisco AQ, Manylabs' air quality sensor network project, based on Purple Air II sensors, calibrated through co-location with reference monitor. Wrote grant application, worked with California Air Resources Board personnel on administering the grant, executed project, initiated and managed community outreach to the community and sensor hosts, interfaced with social media and the press, and interaction with BAAQMD, regulatory agencies and San Francisco City agencies, worked with Technical Lead on deployment of low-cost sensors in San Francisco's Eastern Neighborhoods.
July 2019 to July 2022. Field Representative, United States Census. Mixed tour hours, worked on the AHS and SIPP Surveys.
August 2016 - August 2018. Resident, Manylabs [Open Science Workspace]. Administrator and executive for Manylabs' low-cost air quality sensor project, originally based on Shinyei components and Arduino prototyping platforms. Coordinated team, located sensor hosts through community outreach, successfully applied for grant from California Air Resources Board. Application approved July 2017, funded October 2018.
