Man on a mission always searching for ways to level up. Not only my pockets but my mentality as well. There is always room to learn no matter the setting. Having children and age has shown me that life has its up and downs and we can only do what we know at the time. I want to know more so I can do more for mines. I wish I would have been more eager to make these steps sooner, but as I said before, we live, and we learn.
Experience
Majority of my professional experience has been in a warehouse setting. From forklift operating and inventory to loading and unloading freight from trailers and stocking said inventory in the warehouse via scanners and barcodes. Building pallets from requisitions coming from other parties throughout a location and delivering said pallets to then unload product into said parties' inventory.
After transitioning in and out of that career I came back, while in welding school, to a warehouse I had already worked for over five years. Instead, I chose a supervisor role. Worked that position for a “season”, because it was at a sports arena, graduated from welding school and have now been attempting to get into a union.
In between “seasons”, I have worked as a PCA (Personal Care Assistant), worked as a Deli Clerk for Harris Teeter while working that PCA job. Barback and food runner for BetMGM, along with being a security officer at nightclubs throughout the District of Columbia.
