About Randy Gaines:

I am a mission-driven leader at the intersection of public policy, voter protection, and racial equity. With a Master of Public Affairs, years of grassroots organizing experience, and a proven track record in civic engagement, I’ve led state and national efforts to expand voting rights, train political talent, and defend democracy.

From founding Amplify Action to co-creating the Biblical Justice Initiative within the Church of God in Christ, my career has been shaped by a commitment to inclusion, leadership development, and systems change. I’ve served in senior roles across campaigns, nonprofits, and public agencies, focusing on lifting underrepresented voices.

Now, I’m continuing my journey toward executive leadership in organizations that value justice, equity, and measurable impact. Let’s build power, move policy, and leave no voter—or community—behind.

Experience

I am a seasoned public affairs and political strategy professional with over a decade of experience leading voter protection, civic engagement, and advocacy initiatives across the South and beyond. I have served in senior leadership roles on national campaigns, directed statewide grassroots programs, and co-founded organizations like Amplify Action, which has registered over 260,000 voters—primarily Black men—in the Southeastern U.S.

My work spans public policy, electoral justice, community organizing, and nonprofit management. I’ve led voter protection efforts in Georgia, built relational organizing networks through the Georgia Grassroots Network, and helped pass legislation protecting students from sexual assault while working in the Missouri State Legislature.

As the founder of the Biblical Justice Initiative within the Church of God in Christ, I’ve bridged faith and justice by training clergy and communities on civic responsibility and systemic advocacy. With an MPA and a passion for data-driven leadership, I’m committed to advancing equitable policy solutions and building sustainable political power for marginalized communities.

Education

I hold a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) with a concentration in Public Administration from the University of Texas, where I focused on public policy, budgeting, ethics, program evaluation, and grant writing. My graduate studies emphasized civic engagement, electoral justice, and strategic leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management from American Public University, where I developed a strong foundation in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and operational efficiency—skills that continue to inform my work in advocacy, policy, and program development.
