Tree Trimming Plus Lawn and Landscaping  Independence, MO

Mower                   April 2023-Present

• Operated 52-inch and 36-inch deck mowers in residential and commercial settings 
• Utilized mini skid steers for moving debris from tree trimming and removal activities, and put debris through a chipper
• Assisted with irrigation backflows and line repairs, and used hedge trimmers to shape shrubs

EcoSafe Environmental Services Inc.   Kansas City, MO

Environmental Scientist   October 2022-March 2023

• Collected air, tape lift, and dust wipe samples in the field to test for asbestos, mold, and lead 
• Analyzed the asbestos samples via PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy) procedure while in the field 
• Wrote scientific reports on the test results for environmental consulting agencies and construction companies 
• Managed own schedule and coordinated with project managers in order to deliver results in a timely manner 

Grandview School District    Grandview, MO

Groundskeeper September 2021-September 2022

• Mowed grounds of Grandview High School with a zero-point turn lawn mower, and removed trash 
• Installed hardscape utilizing flagstones, river rocks, and pea gravel
• Performed ice mitigation by applying salt to paths and parking lots using walk-behind applicators and salt spreaders on F250s 
• Utilized light and heavy machinery such as chainsaws, aerators, and a Bobcat

Gila Watershed Partnership Safford, AZ

Restoration Technician (Seasonal) October 2019-August 2020

• Oversaw volunteer crews on various restoration projects removing invasive species and reintroducing native trees and plants 
• Collected seeds via Seeds of Success protocols and twigs of riparian trees to propagate in a greenhouse, and assisted in their maintenance until transplanting into restoration sites
• Assisted with events such as fundraising, community trash-clean-up days, and educational outreach
• Maintained irrigation equipment by finding holes and splicing new pipes and fittings 
• Used hand tools, herbicide applicators, and light machinery, including spades, backpack sprayers, and augers
• Spread and raked in a mix of native, drought-tolerant seeds over half a dozen acres to help a burned area recover

Brady’s West Garden Center  Salida, CO

Planting and Shipping Nursery Worker (Seasonal) January 2019-June 2019

• Worked in 17 industrial sized greenhouses and operated a forklift to move pallets of materials and bulk bags of dirt 
• Coordinated with other workers to designate tasks, and helped train three new employees to navigate the greenhouses, as well as in plant maintenance techniques
• Planted several thousand seedlings, recorded the number of plantings, organized them by genus, and maintained them by dead-heading, pruning, transplanting, and watering 

Southwest Conservation Corps/American Conservation Experience Durango, CO/Flagstaff, AZ

Corps Member (Seasonal) January 2018-December 2018

• Interacted with the public at National Parks by answering questions and giving directions 
• Hiked uneven terrain, often more than 6 miles per day; worked in high-temperature ranges and inclement weather conditions
• Built trails by establishing tread, removing boulders, and by brushing along the trail corridors to insure ease of movement 
• Read herbicide labels, read Safety Data Sheets, calibrated spraying equipment, and mixed and applied herbicide
• Removed invasive riparian species with chainsaws and brushcutters; maintained equipment
• Used pheromone tagging techniques to preserve critical habitat, and used GPS units to monitor priority areas and saplings

• Created and managed own calendar between different clients and contractors, and occasionally directed a small crew
• Installed sod, mulch, and hardscapes, and maintained landscapes by mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding
