I worked for 12years with geriatrics mostly through an agency.
I wanted to learn about Illnesses and how to care for the sick.
I started with Companionship, then worked 12hr and 24hr on severe cases and Hospice. I have covered most ground except for ALS. I work on transfer assist, ambulatory or bedridden cases.
I have experience in most standard equipment, rehab tools and a hoyer lift.

Previous to working with geriatrics, both my parents got sick at the same time and died within 6 months of each other. My father was diagnosed with Cancer 13 years ago. Everything I learnt about geriatrics, I acquired on the field.
