About Phanuda Fontenelle-Jawahir:

I have been a nurse for almost 28 years and have worked in many departments as a registered nurse in the island of St. Lucia WI. After eleven (11) years of bedside nursing and specialty in midwifery, I moved to Community where I served as the charge nurse for almost three years, supervising three other employees. In 2010 I left community nursing and obtained a master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner I served four districts in the community and sometimes helped management by working in the capacity of a Public Health Nurse Supervisor.

Worked as an effective Nurse Practitioner until October of 2019 when I signed up with an agency and migrated to the United States. I was hired to work as a postpartum nurse at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Hospital for 2 years and 2 months. At the end of my contract I engaged in travel nursing until August 2022. In September of the same year I took a break to commence my Doctorate of Nursing Practice. I presently work as a charge nurse at the Carolina Rehabilitation Center of Cumberland County. With the vast amount of knowledge and experience I have attained as a nurse and certificates in Social work, Public administration, along with my experience in supervisory positions and the leadership skills I am presently learning in my doctorate program, I feel comfortable in taking up the challenge of this position.  There is more depth on my experience and skills in my resume which I would consider you looking over.

Appreciate if any form of consideration is given to me.

Yours Sincerely,

Phanuda Fontenelle - Jawahir
