About Peter Carey:
I have worked in establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners for my entire 30+ year career. Throughout that time, I developed a razor-sharp business acumen, and lead my staff of five employees to work and think independently. Interacting in a detailed manner with countless stakeholders and more design professionals has brought me to the conclusion that a “think yes” attitude is mandatory in this line of work to get the desired outcome for the project.
I am a LEED AP, a WELL AP, and am very committed to sustainability, not to mention I can talk extensively (and technically) about sustainable systems and methodologies for construction. I am also well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Salesforce, the entire Microsoft suite of programs, and my online research is impeccable. My entire career has been involved (in one way or another) with mentoring, consulting and gently educating my staff and my clients on best practices.

Creator - Continuing Education Content (CEU)
Design, development, creation, and training of AlA/CEU educational programs for manufacturers to give voice to the history of their brand and products, as well as the process or turning them into something scalable for mass production. Covering such diverse subjects as cast gypsum ornamentation, the history of fabric in architecture, and an overview of the value engineering process in architecture, the concept was to give manufacturers a strategy to talk about their products in a neutral way that is also educational. The content for these programs were designed to be fresh, new and exciting for today's younger design professionals.

Streamline Material Resourcing was a consulting firm in NYC that focused on organizing building materials and educating designers about materials used for architecture and interior design firms. Streamline would assist outside vendors calling on each firm we worked with by getting their product introductions seen by designers. This could be done with an Informal product display in the office, or by way of a wine & cheese event at the end of the day, or with a more formal Continuing Education presentation with CEU credits.
With a staff of five professionals, Streamline designed, organized, and overhauled the spaces where architects and designers referenced materials for their projects. Streamline built a customized reference library for Bloomberg's NYC headquarters, as well as Viacom’s NYC headquarters. Regular clients included design firms such as Perkins Eastman. Meyer Davis. and Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), just to name a few.

Butler Rogers Baskett Architects I NYC, NY Resource Librarian
Manager and curator of material and reference libraries for both NYC and Connecticut offices Both libraries delivered technical information and samples to architects and interior designers. Developed the material selection process for het firm's corporate interiors segment, as well as hospitality and education projects. Acquired AIA/CES credentials for the firm to give its own presentations to registered architects.
