I worked previously in the security field as a civilian for a distribution center. And Federally, I work for the military in the US Navy as a logistics specialist and security threat prevention team member.

Under civilian security work, I monitored CCTV cameras, video play backs for higher-ups to review any incidents, monitored for threats to life, thefts, harassment, fire or any form of evacuation. Access to all doors were routinely monitored and physically checked. Scanning proper individuals into and from work through metal detectors. Denying access to persons without proper access. Overwatch, was performed on 2nd and.3rd shifts. In the Navy, I worked with warehouse level distribution similar to the security job I held. But, more of a logistics technician or specialist who was tasked with monitoring all storerooms, maintenance done to all storerooms, and inventory checks, as well. The collateral duty assigned in security I performed in conjunction to my daily job in logistics. In Security Forces as it's termed by the Navy, I worked directly with Naval Police to deter bomb threats, active shooter, scan personal, check ID/badges, I was armed as well. Which is a requirement to be security forces in the Navy was to be actively armed for every shift. We did overwatch as well after hours onboard the ship and had authority to detain and arrest if need be.
