I am an architect for creating possibilities, overcoming challenges, and paving the way for sustaining success. As a career logistician in the Air Force, I designed air transportation networks in one of the most austere and dangerous locations in the world.

I am an Air Force Veteran and resourceful, technically-savvy professional and I believe that my qualifications, credentials, and expertise position me to contribute meaningfully to this position while establishing a foundation on which I can continue learning and building my understanding of DevOps and the framework that supports it. In transitioning into the Information Technology (IT) space, I am seeking to leverage a multifaceted background that includes extensive military service and experience with strategic planning, team leadership, and analytical problem-solving.

Having recently completed a specialized training program in Development and Operations in which I earned the valuable CompTIA Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications and cultivated skills that have prepared me to contribute to the processes, procedures, and protocols supporting the design, development, and deployment of technology products and solutions. I am eager to leverage my understanding to contribute to development-centric initiatives and employ a hands-on approach to technical collaboration that fosters consistency and quality through delivery in spaces where trust, integrity, and accountability are paramount. The prospect of joining your team is exciting, as I believe this role will allow me to apply learned concepts, methodologies, tools, and techniques to contribute to operational change, optimization, and success. 

Core Qualifications: 

• Strategic Analysis: Throughout my military career, I've demonstrated the ability to conduct a comprehensive research project, identify critical limitations and operational deficiencies, and analyze existing IT support architecture. This competency involves strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. 
• Advocacy and Influence: I have successfully lobbied for funding from higher headquarters, resulting in a significant investment in facility and equipment upgrades, as well as the creation of specialized cyber support positions. This demonstrates my ability to advocate for resources and influence decision-making, as well as communicate actionable and decision-quality information at multiple levels of leadership.
• Project Management: As a seasoned project and program manager, I have led research projects, coordinated split operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and helmed the onboarding/offboarding programs at different units. These activities require effective project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution. 
• Information Security: Lastly, as a veteran program leader, I have enforced information security protocols, such as role-based access, separation of duties, and restricted area access. I have also secured classified data and mitigated insider threats. This showcases my expertise in information security and risk management. 

The most uplifting and fulfilling part of my Air Force journey is to perceive challenges as opportunities to foster teamwork, advance progress, enact long-term solutions, and create positive impacts for stakeholders.
