Patrick Johnson

I am a Freshman at Tulane University majoring in Finance and Computer Science and minoring in IT. I am a member of the Tulane Honors Program, the Honors Residential Learning Community, and the World Development Scholar Society. I am Staff Writer for the Tulane Hullabaloo news section and a Tulane Chess Club and E-Sports Club member. 

My academic interests are capital management and quantitative analysis stemming from my interests in investing and programming. Over my high school career, I've had a keen interest in giving back to my community, serving my community uniquely through the JROTC program, establishing myself as a team member and leader through special service projects, and in leadership, attending Arkansas Boys State. I aim to translate this commitment toward my professional career as well. 

I like running, cycling, golfing, participating in community service, and hanging out with friends in my spare time.

I worked for the Food and Beverage Department of the Clinton Foundation, where I set up, took down, and helped manage banquets and events at the Clinton Library and worked in the restaurant at 42 Bar and Table for almost two years during high school. 

I am attending Tulane University, where I report and craft informative stories on current Tulane and Greater New Orleans events via the news section of the Tulane Hullabaloo and interviewed numerous members of staff, executives, and students of Tulane. I also engage with New Orleans in community service projects, such as working reception and event management for business accelerators for Idea Village.

I graduated from Catholic High School for Boys in May 2022 and am currently studying Finance and Computer Science at Tulane University in New Orleans. 

As part of the Finance curriculum, I have taken calculus, statistics, Financial Accounting, micro and macroeconomics, and management communications, and I am Excel 2019 Associate certified.
