Patricia Montague

I am a dedicated school-based social worker providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents within the school setting. I hold a Licensed Master Social Worker license and am committed to supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and social well-being so they can succeed both academically and personally.

In my role, I provide individual and group therapy, crisis support, and ongoing collaboration with families, teachers, and school staff. I work with students experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns, peer and family relationship difficulties, and school-related stressors. My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate, meeting students where they are while helping them build coping skills, emotional insight, and resilience.

I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where students feel heard, valued, and empowered. By partnering closely with caregivers and school teams, I strive to support the whole child and promote long-term emotional growth and success.

• Worked with students on academic probation or suspension to aid students to increase grade to become successful student. • Assisted students with creating SMART goals • Aiding students develop goal-oriented steps to increase grades and engage in new atmosphere. 

Children's Aide SPHS Child Learning Center - Monessen, PA October 2021 to May 2023

 • Supervised and monitored children to ensure safe and healthy learning environment. • Individually worked in classroom with children to aid and support for the transition into pre-k. • Worked with a variety of age ranges to ensure safety and support in center. • Organized and implemented curriculum driven activities to facilitate space for children to learn and explore interests.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2023, where I developed a strong foundation in clinical practice, ethical decision-making, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents. Following the completion of my graduate studies, I continued to advance my professional training and successfully obtained my Licensed Master Social Worker credential in 2025. My education and licensure support my current work providing school-based therapeutic services and collaborating with students, families, and educational teams to promote emotional and behavioral well-being.
