Recent honors graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Public Health, minor in Health Disparities. Currently based in Orlando, FL. Previously interned with the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs the Department of Health in Alachua County.

Experience

During my internship at the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center, I developed a solid foundation in using evidence-based research and statistics to develop resources for Veterans and gained hands-on experience in coordinating presentations aimed at enhancing patient wellness and providing education about disparities within the community. I had the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, where I honed my communication and interpersonal skills while advocating for patient-centered care strategies.

My internship at the Alachua County Health Department involved working with community partners on certain public health initiatives, particularly in addressing health disparities within diverse populations. I actively participated in community outreach programs focused on preventive care and health promotion, which strengthened my ability to engage with community stakeholders and implement effective health interventions.
