I am someone who is a very determined person with the mentality of prioritizing respect, efficiency and lifelong learning. I am a current student at Modesto Junior College looking to go to an undergraduate program in the field of journalism. As someone who is a student, I have the abilities to manage my time effectively, create connections and give maximum effort in my everyday duties due to the things I have learned inside and outside of the classroom. As an aspiring sports journalist I have developed elite communication skills to be able to properly and effectively communicate to anybody and anyone. As someone who enjoys the art of communication, I have deep morals and values when it comes to interacting with others. I believe and have adopted the mindset of serving others and being able to work in a team environment. I prioritize connections with others my goal is to provide a positive atmosphere when working with others. I have the mindset and open mindedness to learn and adapt to anything. 

I am a stringer for the Patterson Irrigator, where for over a year I have Conducting in person and phone interviews with local government and city officials, service organization presidents and event coordinators. Set appointments and schedules with interviewees. Written articles with proper professional language and grammar. Collaborated with other reporters and editors on stories. Attended events without prior knowledge, seeking and asking for event coordinator Able to write superb articles under time crunch and specific word count. Conducted research analyzing high quality websites and sources. Able to adapt to people and environment during interviews. 

I also have experience with cleaning carpets with Promaster Quality Carpet Cleaning, and for more than 3 years I have prepped carpet cleaning materials, such as measuring, organizing, soaps/cleaners and other before equipment use. Moving and returning furniture and appliances to proper locations. Communicating with residents and care staff. Pulling and moving hoses and organizing equipment into tight spaces. Handling chemical liquid and powder soaps. 

I am a current student at Modesto Junior College studying to get my Associates Degree of Transfer in Communications.
