About Olivia Sparks-Wallace:

I have a bachelor and masters degree in the field of sociology.  I taught sociology at East Tennessee State University for 10 years.  I would still be teaching had budget cuts not resulted in grad students teaching these courses for financial purposes.  I am passionate about sociology and social issues.

Experience

I have taught adjunct sociology courses for East Tennessee State university for 10 years.  I  soecialized in teaching introduction to Sociology and Social Issues, though I have experience and passion for many aspects of sociology, to include aging, gender, race, urbanization.  I also completed in depth research and published concerning gender differences in academic performance in a a rural high school over the course of 10 years.
