About Olivia Gangi:
With a Bachelor's degree in Art, two years of experience as a teacher’s aide and a year of teaching middle school social studies and art, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to your school's educational environment.
During my tenure as a teacher at a Title I middle school, I developed a comprehensive understanding of differentiated instruction and fostering a supportive learning environment. My experience has equipped me with the skills needed to engage students and adapt to their diverse learning needs.
As a teacher’s aide, I became a reading instructor with the Reading Mastery curriculum. During my two years, I had students rise to grade reading level and beyond. I take immense pride in the recognition I received as a Reading Mastery teacher at my previous school. This acknowledgment is a testament to my dedication to fostering a love for reading and language skills among my students.
As a teacher's assistant, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to creating a positive and effective learning environment. My role goes beyond traditional expectations, as I actively engage in shaping lesson plans, classroom organization, and student enrichment. I am proactive, anticipating the needs of both the teacher and the students to create a seamless and productive educational experience. My creative background gives me a fresh outlook on situations, and a unique connection to students.
