Noe Colmenares Jr

I’m a Graphic and Communication Designer based in Northern California.

 I originated from the Bay Area but moved up north to pursue my passion and dive deeper into the field of design. I’m known for being open-minded, flexible, and having a creative mind. I am also very versatile and am willing to experiment with new opportunities and develop my craft.

Sports, especially basketball and soccer, are a big part of my life and shape my approach to design. The teamwork, strategy, and resilience I’ve developed on the field translate directly into my work. These experiences have taught me the value of collaboration and adaptability, which drive my success in creating impactful and visually compelling designs.

I interned as a social media specialist at a tattoo shop for six months, where I gained experience in content creation and managing online engagement. For the past two years, I’ve been working as a Graphic Designer 2 at a successful casino in Butte County, where I’ve been contributing my design skills to enhance the casino’s visual identity and marketing materials.

As a designer with a rich blend of skills and interests, I bring a unique perspective to every project I undertake. My background is deeply rooted in my Hispanic culture, which profoundly influences both my personal and professional life. 
 

I graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design, where I developed a strong foundation in design principles, visual communication, and creative problem-solving. In addition, I earned an Associate degree in Graphic Communication at Los Médanos College, which provided me with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of graphic design and its application in various media.
