I'm Noah Adams, and I grew up in the Vinings/Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA. I graduated from a private prep school and went on to study at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. While there, I realized my true love for Aviation and returned to Northern VA, where my family had moved. I was invited into a 36-month full-time paid Apprenticeship with FlyWyld Aviation at Manassas Regional (HEF) Airport. My shop is closing, so I'm looking for a new opportunity.

Experience

Assitant Mechanic • Flywyld aviation • April 2022-current

For the past three years, I have been working as a full-time apprentice at FlyWyld Aviation. My responsibilities have included:

  • - Assisting with annual inspections
  • - Performing oil changes
  • - Conducting brake work
  • - Working on engines
  • - Running up planes
  • - Diagnosing problems and providing reliable solutions
  • - Sourcing and ordering parts
  • - Meeting with airport management and leading discussions on behalf of the shop
  • Additionally, due to my smaller frame, I was utilized to access tight spaces when called upon.

 

Pro Shop• Southriding Golf course • August 2020 – June 2022

  • Supervised a team both within the Pro Shop and as a starter.
  • Operated and managed the store, including retail sales and Tee time reservations 
  • I opened and closed the course, which included reconciling, and depositing daily earnings.
  • Addressed member and employee concerns and problems. 

Education

Over the past three years, as a full-time paid apprentice with  Flywyld Aviation

  • Started flying planes and have 20 hours of flight time
  • Over the past thirty-eight months, I have dedicated myself to continuous learning and skill development to prepare for the upcoming A&P certification exam.
  • I have a meeting scheduled with the Richmond FSDO to get my 8610-2 document signed, and plan to go to Bakers Academy to get my A&P license soon thereafter.
