About Nikita Rao:
I am a hardworking student, passionate about UI UX design.
Experience
I was a shadow intern for an incumbent business as a part of WESCO. I shadowed meetings to understand the process behind the formation and sustainability of software businesses. I also learned about the successes and failures of business methods, specifically the rise of value-exchanging businesses. Furthermore, I observed collaboration in a professional environment and hiring pitches to new potential employees. I was also a UI/UX Intern for Softpath System LLC, a computer consulting firm. I made suggestions on how to improve the layout and design of the OPTEVUS hiring platform’s website and application. I used the design tool Figma to create an innovative and effective application page to improve client experience Finally, I learned and implemented Angular Javascript to construct application designs with a team of developers.
Education
I am an currently an undergraduate Computer Science student at Georgia Institute of Technology, expecting to graduate in May 2026. My study concentrations are in Media and People.
