About Nidaa Alfandi:
Hello and good afternoon! I'm Nidaa Alfandi, and I have been living in the U.S. for 26 years. I hold a master’s degree in early childhood education in the Arts and have been working in this field since 2013. I can speak three languages: English, Arabic, and sign language. I have spent nearly seven years working with special needs children, and I have experience with infants, toddlers, and now I am teaching four- and five-year-olds. My schedule is very flexible, and I am open to any shifts. I also have two bachelor’s degrees one in early childhood education and the other in cosmetology. On a personal note, I have a little family with a 5-year-old daughter. As a full-time teacher and mom, I am excited about the opportunity to work with your company and can't wait to chat with the principal! Thanks a lot, and I look forward to connecting!
Experience
In the realm of early childhood education, my professional experience spans a diverse range of developmental stages, focusing on infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten children. Over the years, I have encouraged a deep understanding of the unique developmental milestones characteristic of each age group. My experience with infants has emphasized the importance of nurturing secure attachments and fostering sensory exploration, creating a solid foundation for learning.
With toddlers, I have prioritized the development of social skills and independence through guided play and structured activities. This age group thrives on routine and exploration, which I have facilitated by creating an engaging, safe environment that promotes curiosity and self-discovery. Transitioning into preschool, I have implemented age-appropriate curricula that blend foundational literacy and numeracy skills within a play-based framework, ensuring that learning remains both enjoyable and effective.
In my work with pre-kindergarten students, I have emphasized the importance of preparing children for the transition to formal schooling, focusing on critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills. Through diverse teaching strategies, I have aimed to accommodate varying learning styles and foster a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom, thus shaping well-rounded, confident learners ready to embark on their educational journeys.
