Nicole Ekström

Hello! My name is Nikki Ekström. I am a painter studying Studio Art and Art History and am on track to get my BFA. My passion is creating, whether it’s through painting, dancing, making clothes, styling a photoshoot, or coming up with creative concepts to execute. I own a small business where I sell my artwork and am the Creative Director for my dance team at Umass Lowell. I also have a passion for fashion, film photography, and music. I spent a month living in Spain where I studied photojournalism and learned so much about being comfortable communicating my ideas with others and executing them. I am enthusiastic about anything creative and love working with others as well as independently. I would love the chance to join your team and show how I can bring energy through my skills and personality!  

I own a business where I sell my paintings and take commissions. My website is aartbynik.com. I held an exhibition in Opera, Spain where I displayed a series of people, places and things that were affected by the recent heat wave in 2022. I am a director for my hip hop based dance team making choreography and helping with artistic decisions. 

I am currently a Junior in college at UMass Lowell studying to to get my BFA. I have also attended the Universidad de Rey Juan Carlos in Spain.
