Sup, I’m Nick. I’m a working actor based in New York. I'm a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. I was also in the extension division at Juilliard.

A little bit about myself: I’ve been in a bunch of plays Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Australia, New Zealand. I’m also in a few films. One is on Amazon Prime. A series I’m the lead in is about to be picked up by Tubi, I believe.

I love teaching and coaching. All of the most influential people in my life have been my teachers, so it's been a natural transition for me to do alongside my acting. I’ve been assistant teaching at the Lee Strasberg Institute for the past year and am about to become a certified instructor there. I specialize in the Strasberg technique, also known as the method. I specialize in audition coaching for film and tv. I have a few clients in that sphere who are working at the moment. Here's what a couple of them had to say about me:

Emma Duchesneau ("Princess Halle and the Jester"):
"Nick is a phenomenal scene partner, acting coach, and friend. His dedication to the craft and understanding of the method is truly admirable. He puts 100% of himself into anything he does and his dedication always produces something creative, innovative, and unapologetically real. He inspires those around him to work harder and achieve their full potential. I would recommend Nick as a coach to anyone who needs help to better understand a character, a text, or to bring something fresh to a role."

Sebastian Youssef ("Roosters"):
"I started working with Nick in 2021, when he was just beginning to refine his craft. Since then, he’s become my go-to acting coach for auditions. Nick consistently challenges me in ways no other coach has, helping me grow both technically and creatively. His knowledge of the craft is incredibly broad—shaped by his training with legendary teachers like Geoffrey Horne and Robert Ellerman. He’s extremely patient and always comes prepared with multiple approaches to any challenge the actor is facing with the text or character, drawing from a deep well of experience. Nick helps me connect authentically with each character and make bold, specific choices with the text. Working with him has truly elevated my work."

Experience

I've been very active in the New York theatre scene. I've appeared in plays at NYU ("Everybody", "Breaking Point", "The Pittsburgh Free Press"), in festivals ("The Last Supper"), Off-Off-Broadway ("Trees"), Off-Broadway ("Fragments"), along with additional productions in New Zealand ("Much Ado About Nothing") and Australia ("A Midsummer Night’s Dream", "The Great Gatsby", "Little Shop of Horrors").

My role as Don John in Topdog Theater Company’s "Much Ado About Nothing" played at the prestigious Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch, New Zealand, during the summer of 2023. The Isaac Theatre Royal has a seating capacity of over a thousand people and has hosted the likes of Sir. Ian McKellen,  Miriam Margolyes,  Jemaine Clement, and Jason Isaacs. My one-person show, "Trees", played at the coveted La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in the summer of 2024.

On-screen, I've portrayed Liam Carter in Amazon's "We Killed Our Friend”, and Travis Hall in Brian Vadim’s series "Roosters"; the pilot script won the Cannes Screenplay Contest. I am currently set to star as Detective John Rollins in Randy Lindsay's debut feature, "Deceit", and Hank in the horror feature, "The Shire Club”.

Education

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Three years of training in the Strasberg technique (the method) at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Have spent the past year assistant teaching at the Young Actors at Strasberg program.
