Nichol Wadkins

My name is Nichol and I am a determined sonographer with my ARRT(s) and SPI certificate looking for full time work in a facility that allows me to expand my knowledge in DMS. My current working goal is to earn my ARDMS in OB/GYN then Abdomen. I am extremely adaptable to various protocols and equipment and work best in a fast-paced environment. I have some experience in working in an Urgent Care setting as well as on the education side of sonography, teaching. As part of your medical staff, I will bring a positive attitude, punctuality, competency and an eagerness to help others.

After graduating with honors from my ultrasound program, I was offered employment as an assistant In the sonography lab. From there, I worked at the Tulare urgent care where I  became their very first sonographer at that location. That next year, I started teaching sonography at San Joaquin Valley College, and have been instructing sonography for the last three years.

I graduated from my ultrasound technician program with honors scoring, a 97% or higher in each individual module. I also obtained multiple perfect attendance awards throughout my program and received student of the month during my stay. During my 960 hours of hands-on clinical externship I passed my SPI exam. After school, I obtained my ARRT (S) and am now working on obtaining my ARDMS in OB/GYN then Abdomen/small parts.
