Neelanjana Roy

A Biomedical Scientist (Human Molecular Geneticist) with 5+ years of experience beyond Ph.D. Highly motivated self-driven hard-working individual with strong inter-personal skill. Research activities involve both laboratory as well as analytic work that includes DNA analysis, Genome sequencing, Biostatistics, Cell Culture, and Immunological studies. Have extensive experience and highly proficient in the use of state-of-the-art research tools and high-end scientific equipment like PCR/Real Time PCR, DNA/RNA Isolation, DNA Sequencing (including NGS platform), ELISA, Confocal Microscope, and Spectrophotometer etc. An accomplished researcher with a proven record of leadership. Took the responsibility for defining planning, management and on-time completion of project deliverables - served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for a multi-year project grant. Highly proficient in research grant/proposal writing to Government agencies. Taught courses on genetics, biostatistics and analytic tools to post-graduate medical students. Have extensive experience in interacting with patients in hospital/clinical environment during Ph.D. term as well as in current postdoctoral years.
