Natalie Askren

Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Kid's Gymnastics and Dance Coach. I value education to stay on top of the most relevant advances in health and wellness. After completing a studio certificate in dance and stage combat at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy: Los Angeles, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on both Athletic Training and Dance. I am currently halfway through my completion of a Master's Degree in Kinesiology. I take pride in a personable and supportive role with clients, preferring a good laugh during workouts (extra cardio!) rather than the drill sergeant approach. The best workout is the one you want to show up for, and that may be more stretching on days when energy is lower - be flexible with your workouts and your approach to personal care. 

My first decade in Los Angeles was focused on completing my degrees in wellness and fitness. While I have maintained personal training, dance, and group fitness clients and classes, I supplemented with restaurant management, event bookings, and retail positions that allowed me to be creative and foster strong teams with my leadership skills. During the pandemic, it was good to have this diverse skill set, which afforded me more opportunities.
