Naomi Oguntoyinbo

I am a second-year MBA student at Pennsylvania State University, focusing on finance. Before my MBA, I worked in two industries, banking, and consulting industries, gaining problem-solving, business acumen, communication, business development, financial analysis, and modeling skills. My roles have been collaborative and client-facing in a typical fast-paced environment. I am curious to learn, and I have spent the last two years empowering myself for a finance leadership role. I am ready to take my career to the next level where I can mentor and coach others. 

I have seven years of experience in management consulting, providing financial advisory, compliance, and forensic accounting services to private and public clients across various industries, including but not limited to financial services, fintech, media & entertainment in Africa, energy, manufacturing, aluminum and steel etc.

My expertise spans due diligence (financial and anti-corruption), project management (from planning to close), financial statement analysis, financial modeling (build and review), and business development (campaign and proposal preparation and presentation, RFP response). I ventured slightly into product management to improve my design thinking, problem-solving skills, and client-focused mindset. I took an online course on product management and interned in a product team working on the prototype of a financial management tool over the summer of 2022. 

I am running a dual degree; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Corporate Finance (MCF) at Pennsylvania State University. My master's program will end in May 2023.
